These following songs are from the past twenty years or so. A couple from the Austin years. I played with some great people. In Austin, I enjoyed the company of Paul Pringle on guitar and Bandolo, and Rene Gudea on percussion and strange noises. We had a blast together, every time we were together. I miss my friends and their terrific talent. A couple of songs were done with the talented Shawn Horton and anti-boredom of Ted Falls and Fred Flores. And of course, somewhere in this time frame I met a really talented and humorous drummer named Jose Luis Garcia, who passed away in February 2008. We played with numerous musicians, looking for that great sound. Jose and I played with great guitarists and friends Roarie Garza, Dave DeLeon, and the most awesome lead king Art Nava. Now I work with the Contemporary Christian Rock line of tunes with AlleluiaAmen, featuring myself, Omar Benavides, Armando Lopez, Jr., and Benigno Ybarra. It doesn't get better than this! .. The reason for it all is faith, fun, friends, and family, and it is always mucho mucho fun. When he visits, I love to play music with my brother Everett (and kids), who also has fabulous guitar, bass, and keyboard talent. One song we did together is posted in the next session of stuff. Look for a couple of Everett's solo songs down the list of mp3’s (you thought Manheim Steamroller was good). My Fabulous cousin Ed Ivey still rules the San Francisco area music scene (bay area booking), and has been a huge musical influence in my life.
